Dave’s Hot Chicken. Even saying the name makes my mouth water.
The name is exactly what it is.
The restaurant has a Hollywood look on the inside and out. Graffiti walls, different colored lights, and very cool art all around.

In fact, it started with three childhood friends with a dream of selling good, seasoned chicken on the side of an East Hollywood parking lot with just $900 scraped up.
Then a reporter from Eater, LA, a restaurant website, came to their little stand, tried their chicken, and the next day posted about it saying “East Hollywood’s new late night hot chicken stand might blow your mind.”
This one article changed their life. Now everyone is coming to their little stand, and they expanded across the country, eventually making it all the way to Loucks road in York, PA.
If you like spicy seasoned chicken then this is definitely the place you should spend your hard earned money on.
Their hot scale from hot to not so hot is…

Reaper
Extra Hot
Hot
Medium
Mild
Lite Mild
No Spice
I can usually handle spice so my first time going I got Hot, thinking it would be alright. Once I took the first bite my mouth was on fire. I couldn’t believe it was that spicy but, I still ate it because I didn’t want to waste it.
So the second time that I went, when I was getting ready to write this article, I got mild.
That’s the only one that I can handle now which is crazy because I’m usually good with spice but like Eater\LA said it will “blow your mind”.

For one chicken meal it is $12.49, making it pretty reasonable for two chicken tenders, fries, and Dave’s sauce on the side.
The ingredients in Dave’s sauce are mayonnaise, chipotle sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
I recommended getting Dave’s sauce to dip your tenders in; it makes them so much better.
So if you love spicy foods or you can handle some spice you will definitely need to stop by this place when you have the time and money.
