Dallastown students follow the high schooler “fit” uniform: leggings, sweatpants, hoodies, and comfy shoes.
That is the outfit for DHS students, when asked about ‘what is a typical outfit for a Dallastown student’ numerous respond similarly.
“Unfortunately hoodie, flared leggings, or a sweater,” as senior Kyleigh Hampshire states.
Many students dress down at school, which some may think disappointing, but dressing comfortably is a common trend outside of school that has transitioned into everyday lifestyles.
“I wear sweaters and leggings a lot,” says senior Maddie Brooks.
So as seen, it has become part of DHS’s norm that students wear their comfiest “fits” while learning.
But to have the ultimate comfy outfit, students must pick out shoes to withstand the ‘endless’ day of school; popular kicks to have comfort and style are Birkenstock Clogs, Ugg Tasman Slippers, and sneakers such as On Cloud and New Balance Tennis.
“People like the aesthetic and convenience of these shoes,” says senior Lauren Hazlett which is certainly true and accomplishes the comfort DHS students live by.
