Everybody loves a good movie, and there have been marvelous movies in the talks between DHS students.
The top three trimester one films were “It Ends With Us,” an incredible hit in theaters despite mild controversy, “Terrifer 3” starring the disturbing Art the Clown, and “Smile 2” which embarks even more thrilling events than the first.
“It Ends with Us,” a novel adapted to the screens, stars Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and Brandon Sklenar as the leads; to read more of why there had been controversy read fellow The Beacon article “From Sweetheart to Senseless.”
“Terrifer 3” and “Smile 2” have been massive successes in the theaters and amongst Dallastown students.
“For the holidays [horror/thrillers] are fun,” states senior Lauren Hazlett. But perhaps not to all.
“I feel like horror movies are just gory these days and not scary – but I think that’s because, with technology and stuff, these effects can be done better than in the past,” states senior Jade Bradenbaugh.
Aside from the three movies mentioned here at DHS, there was an array of liked films – but the question is, what will top these movies in the upcoming months in trimester two? Well, that is a marvelous movie mystery.
