Theres all smiles on stage from our morale committee as the are seen here performing our 5 minute together time dance.

Morale Committee

Dancing around with smiles on their faces this committee is known to be outgoing and creative.

The morale committee is run by Mrs. Smith, they are in charge of choreographing the line dance that is performed every together time as well as planning all on stage events for the main Mini-THON event.

The dance is typically 5 minutes long and filled with simple dance moves. They choreograph, cut the music, make FTK posters and teach the committee members who may not have been able to make practice.

These committee members tend to have free time during Wildcat period or after school in order to choreograph the dance.

Senior Maggie Wolfsheimer has been on the morale committee for two years. She chose morale because she has always been an outgoing person so dancing and running the on-stage events sounded perfect for her.

The most difficult aspect of their job is making sure the line dance is easy and fun for everyone to learn. They often use a variety of music and motions that are easy to copy.

The best part about their job is that they are front and center each together time. They make up and run the dance as well as organize the activities that take place on stage including lip sync battles, best friend challenge, kahoot, hair cuts, and more.

If you are a creative mind, who is outgoing and willing to dance/speak in front of crowds then we want you on the morale committee!

No Shave November winner Ben Usow decided to shave his head For The Kids. The morale committee organized this event as it took place on stage during one of the together times. (Hannah Atkinson)
