Mrs. Nobile
Following high school Mrs. Nobile attended the University of Pittsburgh and majored in Business Management. She received her bachelors after four years.
Nobile has been a guidance counselor for five years.
Her thoughts on student concerns: “answer the “What do you want to do for the rest of your life?” question. Such a hard question for many to think about because their interests are so broad. I encourage them to take advantage of Shadowing Opportunities through YCAL or our network of individuals. The more experiences you get, the more you can see if this career is for you. Also, it is okay to change careers! No one is locking you into that first choice”.
Nobile believes any student slightly interested in a post-secondary school should take the SAT or ACT at least once after completing Algebra II and Geometry. To prepare, students can take the Dallastown prep course as an elective, use College Board practice tests, or a simple Google search of prep courses and practice tests.
For students not considering college Nobile shares they should find a career that they love and will support them in accomplishing their goals and dreams in life.
