Jules Gutekunst is a talented musician, singer, and performer at Dallastown, but many may not know how passionate she is for another specific pathway.
While a senior, Gutekunst juggles a busy schedule inside and outside of the music department, including orchestra, choir, and clubs like National Honor Society, Big Buddy, and more.
“As a musician, I’ve been able to build my confidence and really grow as a person because I’ve met so many amazing people who I want to stay connected to,” Gutekunst said, a smile clear on her face.
This senior hopes to pursue Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, preferably working in live event and tour management.
“The music industry is a growing place, and I want to be surrounded by it for the rest of my life. Sometimes I have to remind myself I’m doing this because I love music,” Gutekunst said.
Gutekunst has made it clear how much of an impact the music department has had on her future.
Gutekunst knows that having multiple interests on top of a stacked schedule is difficult, and she understands the struggles for upcoming musicians.
This is a Humans of Dallastown feature. Our goal is simple: to make a large school smaller by highlighting the unique voices within it.
