Abbey Reid, Social Media Editor
Abbey is a senior this year, and this is her second year on The Beacon staff, as well as her third year in journalism classes. Outside of The Beacon, she likes to travel, work out, and spend time with her family and friends. Abbey has been a swimmer for nine years and is on the Dallastown swim team. She is also a member of various clubs, such as the yearbook club, co-head of the Mini-THON Entertainment Committee, and the National Honor Society. Next year, she plans to attend the University of South Carolina, majoring in PR and Advertising and minoring in Political Science. She enjoys writing feature stories and working with sports, as well as making social media posts for The Beacon Instagram as one of the social media editors.
