Homecoming 2018

Dallastown students enjoyed a fun two weeks leading up to the Homecoming Dance filled with spirit days, a powder puff game and two days off of school.

Due to the two days off before the dance, spirit days for homecoming started the week before on Thursday, September 27th with America Day.

Following that was Beach Day, Comfy Cozy Day, Pink Out, and lastly Gemstone day on Wednesday, October 3rd.

After a fun week of dressing up, students came out to support the girls in their powder puff game.

The upperclassmen won against the underclassmen with a score of 42-0 and the senior football players put on a great halftime show for the team and the audience.

Finally, after spending two days off school, the 2018 Homecoming Dance was held on Saturday, October 6th.

Girls, in beautiful ball gowns, and boys, in handsome suits, danced the night away with their dates and friends.

Dallastown was transformed to a colorful, floral, and lit up Arabian Night. Students were able to enjoy various treats like, cookies, cake pops, chips and pretzels, and new this year was slushies.

Another new thing this year was the decision to switch to cups of water instead of bottles due to the large amount of wasted water from the previous years.
