Ashley Kenney, Reporter
Ashley Kenney is a senior at Dallastown, and she has been on The Beacon staff for two years. She is very involved in music; she is the drum major of the Dallastown Marching Band, and she is also involved in the York Youth Symphony Orchestra. Kenney will continue her education next year at Lycoming College and plans to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Chemistry. Her favorite stories to write are current events, news, and politics. Kenney has also won a Silver Key on one of her personal essays from the Scholastic Art and Writing. A fun fact about her is that she works at Red Lobster
